There is nothing more exciting than seeing Liberians come together to fight for a worthy cause. The level of nationalism exhibited in the last few days has rejuvenated the hope for an Ebola free Liberia. While some may see the scatter effort by different groups as an indication of disunity amongst Liberians, I see it differently. Having thousand scatter efforts is better than having no effort.
The fact that everyone is making some effort to contribute his or her quota to this noble fight is worth applauding. In order to win the battle against a sporadic and deadly enemy, it will take an army with different expertise; that is exactly what Liberians are doing.
It does not matter how this battle is fought; what is essential is that the fight against Ebola is won. With this conviction, Tmz Radio International is joining the DFL-CD3 Old-Fashioned Picnic to collect personal protective equipment to send to Liberia to help contain the Ebola outbreak. The event is scheduled for Saturday August 9th at 5:00 P.M-CST to 8:00 P.M-CST.
Items to be collected are: HAND SANITIZER, GLOVES, MASKS, HAND SOAP, CHLORINE, PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, PROTECTIVE SHOES, AND GOGGLES.
The event will be held at ROUND LAKE PARK PAVILION @ 7298 Eden Prairie Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55346… Park has a Splash Pad, new playground, fishing lake, walking trail…Please bring out the family let us support this worth cause.
